How many pump.fun coins graduate?
Of the 1,448,536 coins launched on pump.fun from 2026-09-29 to 2026-10-28, 1.32% made it to PumpSwap through real trading within a day of launch. Standard coins: 1 in 101. Mayhem coins: 1 in 44, 2.3 times as often. Another 13,109 "graduated" in their launch second, created, bought out and migrated by a single bundle. That's 41% of all graduations, and they aren't breakouts.

How the number moved

Mayhem coins almost never graduated until July (0.1% to 0.3%); since July they have graduated more often than standard coins every month, and over the last 30 days they made up 44% of graduations through trading while being 26% of launches.

How long it takes
What it means for you
- Graduating isn't proof of demand. 41% of graduations are instant migrations set up by one bundle in the launch second, so a big market cap from minute one is a reason to look closer.
- If a coin is going to graduate, it usually goes fast: 85% of the coins that made it through trading did so within their first hour, half of them within 5.8 minutes.
- Mayhem coins graduate 2.3 times as often as standard ones these days, with an agent holding part of the supply. The card flags a Mayhem coin before you trade it.
How we measured it
- Every pump.fun bonding curve created since 2026-04-18 is a launch. Every PumpSwap pool Pump creates when a curve completes is a graduation. Both come straight from the chain.
- A graduation within 2 seconds of the launch is an instant migration: one bundle creates the coin, buys out the curve and migrates it. We confirmed these block by block in our migration study. Everything else graduated through trading.
- Coins are grouped by the day they launched (UTC), and a day counts once a full day has passed after it. The headline is the last 30 complete days.
What it doesn't tell you
- Coins that graduate more than a day after launch aren't in the share. They add about 0.08% more.
- Graduating means the curve filled up. It says nothing about who filled it, or whether the price held afterwards.
- This is pump.fun only. Other launchpads graduate coins their own way.
