What it means for you

  • Graduating is a milestone, not a verdict. It tells you the curve filled, not that anyone is staying.
  • The median coin ends that first hour near the floor. With every token sold back into the new pool its market cap would be about 18 SOL, and the median sits at 19 SOL.
  • The ride can be wild on the way: 25% closed a minute at double their graduation price or more within the day, and most of those gave it back.

How we measured it

  • Coins launched on pump.fun from 2026-10-01 to 2026-10-21 that reached PumpSwap through trading within a day, priced in SOL. Instant migrations are left out.
  • A coin's graduation price is its last price on the bonding curve. Its price at a mark is its last trade on PumpSwap before that mark.
  • Each coin followed through 2026-10-29. Median market caps read the price against a supply of one billion tokens.

What it doesn't tell you

  • These are prices, not profits. Someone who bought well below graduation can be up at a price far under it.
  • It's a share, not a rule for any one coin. A few graduates do hold and run: 1% were at their graduation price or above after 7 days.
  • Prices are in SOL, so a move in SOL itself isn't taken out.
